1968 San Francisco: The "Car Chase"

You can not dissociate Mustang from San Francisco. The “King of Cool” himself, Steve McQueen had the most famous car chase ever made for a movie. The chase lasted close to 11 minutes in the steep streets of San Francisco, Steve McQueen was driving a 1968 Mustang fastback GT in Highland Green similar to the one on our T-shirt.

Fun Fact: Most of the chase was shot in North Beach by Filbert Street, Chestnut, and Taylor Street.
